Why the URN Is Critical

Without the Udyam Registration Number you cannot log in to the portal, download the certificate, provide verification to banks, file payment complaints, or update enterprise details. Recovering it quickly is essential.

Method 1 — Search the Registration Email

When Udyam Registration is completed, a confirmation email is sent immediately containing the full URN. Open the registration email account and search for: Udyam, MSME, or registration. Check spam folders as well.

Method 2 — Recover Through the Official Portal

Use the Forgot Registration Number option on the official Udyam portal. Enter the Aadhaar number used during registration. An OTP is sent to the Aadhaar-linked mobile. After OTP verification, the URN is displayed.

Method 3 — MSME Helpline

Provide your enterprise name, Aadhaar number, approximate registration date, and state. The helpline team will assist in recovering the URN.

Method 4 — District Industries Centre

Visit the nearest DIC with your Aadhaar card and any available business document. DIC officials have access to the Udyam database and can retrieve the registration details.
