Why Udyam Uses OTP-Based Login

The Udyam Registration portal uses OTP-based authentication instead of a username-password system. Every login session generates a fresh one-time password sent to the registered mobile or email. This approach is both simpler for the user and more secure against common cyber threats.

Three Ways to Log In

Method 1 — Udyam Registration Number Plus Mobile OTP

Enter the URN in format UDYAM-XX-00-0000000. Select the registered mobile number for OTP delivery. Enter the OTP received.

Method 2 — Udyam Registration Number Plus Email OTP

Enter the URN. Select the registered email address for OTP delivery. Enter the OTP received in the inbox.

Method 3 — Aadhaar Number Plus Aadhaar OTP

Enter the Aadhaar number used during registration. An OTP is sent to the Aadhaar-linked mobile. Enter the OTP to access the linked registration.
